As the world continues to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become increasingly clear that equitable access to vaccines is essential to mitigating its impact. However, vaccination rates have been slower in some communities, particularly those that are predominantly Black or from the global majority population. This is due in part to historical inequalities in healthcare access, as well as vaccine hesitancy resulting from mistrust of healthcare systems. SFT Foundation worked with local organisations in Islington to raise awareness around Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy. This is the report from that work.
